I am a writer living with a very patient husband, two interesting children and one large goldendoodle. I grew up on my family farm in Maryland and attribute my creativity to my parents who let me paint on the walls when I was a kid. I come from a long line of competitive bakers, crafters, artists and speed talkers (the only skill I held onto).
In my spare time I love to shop at Goodwill for DIY projects and teach 4th grade. I am obsessed with Gilmore Girls reruns and Pinterest, and love to get lost in a book when I have a spare moment.
I secretly want to live in an RV and travel the country with my family but my dog is too big and my youngest is claustrophobic, so we're working on a backup plan.
